Why NFL players are now paid slower
NFL players are paid more infrequently because some around the league can manage their finances wisely. Yes, you read that right.
San Francisco 49ers punter Mitch Wishnowsky has grown accustomed to the American way of doing things in most areas bar one’ the slow rate of pay in the NFL.
Interestingly, Wishnowsky reveals players are paid at a less frequent rate due to a large portion of the league spending their money unwisely. As a result, the NFLPA have organized players’ earnings to be spread out in the hope of decreasing the proliferation of financial troubles.
